  1. What's up Map?

Brother the first time in 2 weeks I visit and you've got a lovely red head for me to pine over :-)

I confess I've never heard of Nanci but then my attention was captivated by a quality just as lovely about her.

  4. U; hey bro, how's that book comin' along?
I like Nanci Griffith, she has a calming influence over me, and that's BEFORE she starts to sing!

Scarlet; no country for a trashy girl eh?
So, pics of Ireland, you want 'Tourist Board' or MY take on it?

Auntie; I have to admit to a fondness for the lady!

  5. Love the "Barn look" venue!

Country's not my favorite music style, but Nanci's performed in my hometown on several occasions and gets rave reviews...probably as many for being kind and down-to-earth as commenting on her musical ability.

I vote your take on Ireland, photographically speaking. [Commented back at you on the Bearded One's site about Irish Festivals vs. the floral kind.] I'm off this week and will be working on the Family Tree. According to both Mom and Mom-in-law, we're Irish. I don't know how the English & French genes feel about that, but this week Ireland it tis. :)

  7. Hey, Map... I tend to prefer the more modern country sound (as Tim McGraw said, 'they put pop in my country'!).

Thanks for your comments... too much stress on the personal end of things has kept me quiet... on several front at once... and now Jimmy isn't up to par. *sigh*

I hope your corner of the universe is doing well. xoxo
