Tis away I am with Herself, back to the City Of The Tribes (Galway) for a few days on our own.

Mind the shop while we're gone, and keep an eye in on the young'uns for me.

Spamming Bollix!

Some bastard in China hijacked my email account this morning and sent emails (in my name) to all my contacts!

If you received any mail from me with the title 'What's new today?' I apologise!

I have spent most of my free time today trying to sort this.

To quote a fellow blogger, "Spa**ing *unts"!

I'm with you there sir!

(Sorry in advance Pat! I know, 'Language Timothy'!) :¬)

Sunday Night.

Pint?
Ya, why not.
The Locke?
Grand.

Me and herself, quite happy in our own company.
Nice music, guitar and fiddle.
We like.

Looking out the window,
See Sis and Don (her patner) & Caroline (my fave cousin).
They come in.
And the night STARTS!

Had great craic with the band,
Lots of danncing!

'Let's go to The Gate' says sis, so we do.

And the band recognise me, and I end up being the 'Guest Star'!
I did four songs, and a tune on the whistle!
And I loved it!

And a good night was had by all.
A quite unexpected night.
Aren't they always the best?

Ma.

Sunday morn,
And worn
Is Sis,
As again
Ma will not rise.
No surprise
Is this,
For 'tis her pattern now,
And how
We can predict
The bitter tongue
And pain she may inflict
On those who only try
To make her days go by
With ease.
And though we try to please
And so much we love her,
She has become our child.
Our Mother.

Happy Birthday Annette

You've been putting up with me for more than half your life (so far!).
And there's a long way to go yet!

Love you. :¬)

Driving His Baby.

Early.
Cold.
Dark.
Damp and foggy.
Driving my baby.
Quiet.
Declan O'Rourke singing.
'Bye hon, be safe'.
'Bye Daddy'.
Flashback 19 years.
Driving alone.
Declan O'Rourke singing.
Fog lifting.
Sun rising.
Home.
Warm bed.
Warm hands.
