  4. What a bunch of baloney! He wasn't drinking at all. Just pretending.

Man, I was never able to drink like that. I usually ended up falling asleep or vomiting in my lap. I was more of a narcotic guy. I felt that narcotics were more elegant than alcohol.

  10. Pearl; I had a lot of 'sandwiches' last night!
Did an early evening gig in town, (had a few there to keep the chords lubricated!) Then headed back to a bar near home to meet friends, (had a few there just to be sociable!) then headed on to my local to meet more friends, getting closer to home all the time, (had a few ... you get the picture!)

And yes, we all get so clever when the drink is in us!

And I am honoured to be on your blogroll! Thank you.

  12. I know, there has to be an exception to every rule...that would be me, the non-drinker.

But I would never put a damper on your happiness so raise a glass for me and do what Mario said. ;)

Herself isn't much fond of the drink either, but She loves goin' to the pub and socialising, and is quite happy with a glass of water!
