Camp Rock

So, tomorrow is day one.
It's back to the gym.
Back to some sort of normality.
That's the plan anyway!

update;

Just back from the gym!
Got a big 'welcome back' from my trainer.
Just waiting for the pain to kick in!!

Day 1 down.

  3. Brother Map,

These are the times when the one who lifts up others needs to be lifted. Allow those who love you to hold you, lift you and carry you (if need be).

We may struggle but we never tire. Exhausted? Yes, but we won't give up. Knock us down, we will get back up.

    You are not alone brother.

  4. Horizontal is okay now and then when the body and soul are tired, but yes, up is always a good direction to aim for. I'm allergic to gyms, but I approve of the rest of your plan. ;)

Just a random thought here, do you write your own songs at all? If so, perhaps it would be cathartic to write one about your sister. Most artists that I know find great release in creating a memorial piece in their own particular genre. It needn't ever be publicly performed, unless you really felt compelled to do so.

  6. The gym is just the ticket. I hate going but the benefits outweigh the discomfort and tedium. Remember, it’s not a rut; it’s a groove.

  7. Good for you, MAP. Keep moving forward. It's tough sometimes, but what other options are there?

  10. Whatever makes you happy. [The gym would make me cry]. ;) We care about you, so take care of YOU.

Hmmm, you may be the first singer I've ever encountered who loves his family AND works out instead of partying til dawn. No wonder I like it here.

Ha...my word is just like you, "kindo"

  12. The gym!

The gym mocks me from afar, even as I dutifully pay my membership dues each month...oh dear...

  13. To everybody; I had individual comments written for you all. I pressed 'post comment' and everything vanished! Just to let you know I really appreciate your input to my life. Thank you all. Things are getting better.

  14. The gym isn't normal, the bar is normal.
But we tell ourselves the gym is good and the pain is good
    Balance it---gym, bar, gym, bar--now that's normal

  15. Clyde; I use them both. The bar seems to be winning at the moment! But I will get the balance right soon.
