What's a boy to do?

The Ma has taken to Her bed.

Here's another one of Her songs from my childhood.
Amazing how memories work.
Work their way back into yer head.

And sure while we're at it, here's Da's tune!

  2. Brother Map,

I hope Ma soon feels herself again. I enjoyed the lyrical voice and sax solo!

I also enjoyed this instrumental one (Da's tune)!

  3. Hope your Ma is better soon. It's tough when the one who cared for you doesn't feel well, huh?

Off to listen to your tunes. I know, doing things backwards today.

  7. Wishing your mom a quick recovery.
Loved that song...no one sang to me when I was growing up. Pity.
But I like to sing funny diddies to my Boy Friend's grandson. He actually knows the words.

  9. And to all;

Ma is in a very severe state of depression.
She has lost the will to live.
It is a very hard thing to witness.
    Very hard!

Tell Ma that there is a need for her to be around to become a burden on her children.
I wish mine was burdening me still

  16. The worst part of growing up is everyone tells you it'll be great...but there's no manual for handling the hard stuff once you arrive.

Give Ma lots and lots of love...then give her ours as well. Sometimes just knowing other people care whether you get up or not makes a difference.

Then again, perhaps you need to share that bottle Ma bought ya...with Ma. :) x

  17. So sorry to hear about your Ma. It must be dreadful for her after Helen and difficult for the rest of the family. I'll be thinking of you.

  18. I have been where your Mum has been, swerved the car a few times, just support her a million percent and let the love you obviously hold for her shine out in her direction.

  19. To All; thank you again for your thoughts and wishes. It means a great deal to me.

She has been down many time before and always managed to pull Herself up again. We hope She can do it again.
