  10. Other than the fact it would take too long to get there, and I don't drink, there's also the problem that I loathe football.

Apart from that I'd be up for it :)

  11. Kim; well if you're going to be like that about it! :¬(

(The ONLY reason I'm going is 'cos the girls want to see it on the 'big screen'! And the beer. (me, not the girls!) If I never saw a game my life would still be grand.) :¬)

  12. Ah, 'tis good to be back and see that all is well with the Stew family.

Thanks, Map, for being here for me when I wasn't. Care to adopt me and add a son to all those daughters?

  15. Charlie; Now, there's a man that gladdens me heart! Thanks for droppin' by my good pal, you have a way of lightening a man's heart! I will gladly have you as my one and only son! Welcome back. :¬)

Madame DF; I had a blast with the daughters in the pub this evening watching the final. Their Mom came to take them home at a timely hour though, as it should be! (Da wasn't out too long after either, got to show example etc.) :¬)

  16. Kim; Just read your post, funnily enough, our childhood sporting experiences were quite similar, except for the shower episodes. Ours, though catholic was a poor school, and much as the 'Brothers' would have liked us all to have showers while they watched, showers were a 'luxury' we didn't have. Though some teachers still insisted we change out of sports gear in front of them at the side of the pitch! :¬/

  18. Pearl; They are getting older and unfortunately the days when we will all be under the same roof are getting lesser and lesser. A sign of Ma & Da getting older? :¬)
