Come to Canada! Apparently our economy was not nearly so hard hit by the recession... and in Manitoba, we have socials, which are parties for engagements, weddings, fund raisers, etc. You'd have no end of work!!! Of course, you'd have to bring the whole band with you... ;-)
PS - I'm just north of Hope in Minnesota - visiting would not be an issue. I think it's only a 7 or 8 hour drive... which on this continent, is just a hop, skip and a jump away!!!
Are you going to come here again? Because we're kind of busted right now. Can you check back in about three years?
