Sad news.

1. Some bastards in this country think they are doing the country proud by killing policemen. Some Bastards are pure SCUM! SCUM!

2. Belfast Taxi died yesterday. I never met the man, but his blog always cheered me! RIP 'R', your blog was a joy, my sincere condolences to Mrs. Belfast Taxi, and your young son.

  1. Oh, SHIT! I used to read that guy! I'm so sorry to hear this. I never commented that much. Wish I had.

I read about that policeman in the New York Times today. I thought that sort of thing was in the past but I guess there will always be the hardcores who can't leave their "calling" behind. Sad. Young guy, too.

And as for that poor soul who was murdered, I hope those cunts rot, slowly! We have no time for murdering bastards in this Ireland of my generation. FUCK OFF ye stupid murdering bastards, ye do not represent US, ye are SCUM!! SCUM!!

  4. Right.

Dumb bastards don't have a lick of sense to argue their points at the ballot box and thus someone who would have protected them in a potentially dangerous situation is now dead. Brilliant.

I'll miss BFT too. May he rest in peace.

  7. Oh my.... BFT wasn't very old! My condolences to his family. And to the family of that policeman too. I just don't understand that mentality at all. Not at all.

  8. Map, with all due respect, the murder of the polis was indeed a terrible thing. The people who carried out the killing are beyond evil. However, I am dismayed to see the likes of Mr J D Curtis jumping in with both feet and making incorrect assumptions with his somewhat mixed up (or limited) knowledge of exactly which political faction was responsible. I can only assume he lives far away from where the killing took place and is relying on smoke room comments to fuel his anger. A real shame.

    Jimmy,

Let me make myself perfectly clear. I am solidly against anyone using car bombs or any bombing devices that could then hurt/maim/kill non-combatants/innocent by-standers in order to further an agenda. Period. Such reckless behavior is insane.

I reread my above comment and cannot distinguish where I stated that I knew or even suspected what faction was responsible.

I don't wish to sully Mr. Mapster's blog in a cross-comment argument with you. If you have any questions, then by all means send me an email.

  11. My condolences for you loss.

I swear, sometimes our "friends" in Blog World feel closer than folks who live next door. My sympathy to his family.

  12. The need to sneak around behind closed doors is not my style. Your ill-informed comment in reference to Ballot boxes indicates that you have no idea who or why this death occured. Terrorism is terrorism, the fact that it was an evil act carried out by evil people is not in dispute, however once again people who 'lump together' all political factions under one banner and 'announce' their knowledge on the subject is crass and insulting.

The suggestion that you might want to offer me the chance to ask you questions as though to humble myself is also insulting, and trust me, that is not a wise thing to do. End of conversation.

  13. Jimmy,

What part of "I don't wish to sully Mr. Mapster's blog in a cross-comment argument with you. If you have any questions, then by all means send me an email" proved most difficult to understand for you?

The "sully" part or "send me an email"?

I have zero interest in debating you on another's thread, if that isn't abundantly clear by now. You can have all the last words that you want Einstein. I couldnt possibly care less.
