  1. Awwww! Map, you are such a sweetie. Your four lovely ladies are so blessed to have you in their lives.

Wouldn't the world be such a different place if everyone felt this way?

    Love to you! xoxoxoxoxo

  3. I'm sure the ladies are comforted by that--but I am as sure that the younger ladies will soon be wishing that you weren't there all of the time

  11. and you know, map, that's all we need - LOVE - as the great B's so beautifully continue to teach us -

on a bit offstroke note, your comment to all those young fellas who'll be comin' a calling all too soon reminds me of when my only son was about 10 years old and i, a single parent/full-time university student, had a male study friend come by for a study session - my son [only boy of 5 children] answered the door carrying an old dull machete and greeted my friend with WHAT DO YOU WANT? to say the least, my friend who had never been to my home before, was a bit taken aback by this greeting but notwithstanding all that we remain friends to this day - in any event, the lesson being that perhaps a prop of sorts might carry a bit more weight but i have the feeling in YOUR case, no prop will be required! ;)

  12. GYPSYWOMAN; What with the shaved head and the tattoos, they are either afraid of me, or they think I am the coolest! I like your story! :¬)

  13. yes, i certainly can just imagine that door opening the first time! no "props" needed, i'm sure - and my son has now grown up to carry a much meaner stick just by his own baritone voice, black leather, tattoos etc - and would still greet guests at my door should he have the opportunity, as he sees things! ;)
