  1. Your love for her was infectious and we are sad to lose such a lovely lady.
Try to celebrate her great life rather than mourn her passing. God bless Martin.

    1. Thank you so much dear Patricia, I often told Ma about you, I think you would have got on well together, but she would probably be the naughty one getting you both into mischief! Xxx

  2. Condolences my friend, and here's to a life well lived, 90 years is a beautiful life, so laugh and cry and tell stories and sing and dance and celebrate that life, look around the room at all the people she loved and loved her, raise a black pint and then cry and laugh and sing and dance... i have a feeling it's what she would have wanted.

    1. Thank you my friend, there will be lots of tales and laughter and tears and whiskey (she had quite the collection of the good stuff!) over the next week. She loved a good party and that's what she's gonna get.

    1. Oh missus, I thought she'd live forever. But that's just 54yr old bubba being the little boy missing his Ma. Xxx

  5. I'm so sorry for your loss my friend...feels like I lost a member of my family when I saw this. Wish I could've met Ma in person, but she lives on in you.

  6. Sorry, brother. I guess those votive candles can only delay the inevitable. It can't cancel it out. All good wishes to you and your family. You're a good son.

    1. Thanks Kim. I am indeed my mother's son. It was remarked only last week by one of the nurses looking after her that not only did I look like her but I also had 'her ways'! :)
