Yes... yes, you are. Worthy. AND loved. Don't ever doubt it. Not just from your family and local friends, but from your friends here as well. We all love you!!! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
Well of course you are...and as Ponita mentioned, by more that those who share your name. I have this posted on the wall in my office:
"Family isn't always blood. It's the people in your life who WANT YOU in theirs; the ones who ACCEPT YOU for who you are. The ones who would DO ANYTHING to see you SMILE & who LOVE YOU no matter what."
So on days when work is less than fun, I look at that and think of you, the family I've CHOSEN to be in my life: from you Sir to Sav and Ponita and Kim Ayres and that Chef who needs to get back in the kitchen. xo
Loved in your case is an overstatement I'm pleased to say. I would describe it more as having a playful, if somewhat indolent, puppy which continually soils the carpet. Every now and then I have to open the patio doors and let it run loose outside in the rain while I gather my thoughts.
Not many electronic gadgets left at this end to communicate with anymore wee man. All safely packed away in the underground garage gathering sand the last time I looked. I've embraced the Mediterranean way of life with both hands and tend to live outdoors as much as I can these days. Tardy of me perhaps, but then you know I never was one for convention. You'll be pleased to know that all is well, my new religion of vegetarianism has returned me to my rudest health since the old days before tobacco and alcohol. I swim, I walk, I titivate in my garden by day and entertain close friends by the poolside at night.I eventually managed to realise my 'Shawshank Redemption' moment, the renovation of my wooden boat is a labour of love and keeps the divils thumbs far fae idle.
I cannot remember the last time I wore boots, but rest assured the crust of Glesga will never truly be wiped from my onward march. My thoughts to you and yours from me an mine. Adieu oul friend, adieu.
These are good people around you. Why question their judgment? You are loved because you deserve love. Hold fast, good sir... It's not just anyone that can bring the good Chef out of his garden...

Obviously, when comments are moderated, I tend to forget if I posted one! Ah well. I meant both of them! :-)
