The Sun Has Got His Hat On

I really could get used to this fine weather, sunshiny days and balmy evenings, salads and chilled Pinot, little (or no) clothes (look AWAY children!)

I do hope it's all good in yer neighbourhood.

  1. Sunshine is good for the soul! Move here... we get tons!! Somewhere around 318 days per year on average.

It's lovely sitting outside around the firepit with a cold drink and a good friend (or many) enjoying the company. Glad to hear things are good in your neck of the universe. They are in mine as well. :-)

  2. Pon; We are just back from a break to Lanzarote, and seem to have brought the sunshine home with us. It's almost midnight and yet we have the doors open and the fan turned to high. And it's pure lovely. I can see why himself moved to Alcudia!

Canadia is on the shortlist for somewhere to live when our babies are all growed up! Some of them might even get there before us! :¬)

  3. Weird, innit?!
It is supposed to last until next Thursday which means I have to wear ALL my summer clothes within the next week; this will involve 7 complete changes of outfits per day.
    Summer is so exhausting.

  4. Scarlet; Woohoo! Scotch!

Good to hear from you! Outfit changing eh? I have two pairs of shorts, one pair for weekdays and the other for Sunday mass. (And neither are green or elfie!) :¬)

  5. So THAT'S where all this rain has come from...you banished it from the Emerald Isle and sent it to me. :)

That or we've just officially entered Monsoon Season.

For a state which has been in drought conditions for 6 years up until this Spring, I don't mind the rain. Enjoy your summer moment and I'll take joy in the liquid sunshine. ;)

  6. hope; Oh it's such a treat my friend. Annette & Kate have to work tomorrow but I'm taking Helena & Anna & meself off to a beach in County Kerry! I'll be up early to drop off the workers and then pack a lunch and off we go! Enjoy the rain!

(The longest drought ever recorded in Limerick was 37 days!) :¬)
