*sigh* i was younger than super nana is now! xoxox
I was already living a 1000 km from home by this time, at the ripe old age of 23!You're dipping into the old memory banks lots tonight, my friend! xoxoxo
They looked old back then too. Charlie Watts is timeless though.
Keef was still pretty. One never sees those snake hips these days.
First of all, Tattoo You is the Stones' masterpiece, as far as I'm concerned. It was their wake-up call after punk rock almost made them irrelevant. Also, that video was filmed in my old neighborhood, the East Village. Keef and Mick walk down St. Mark's Place and meet the boys in St. Mark's Bar. I got all gooey watching it. If I could go back to then, I'd do it in a second.
and now - i'm just tryin' to make some sense - while i'm waitin' on a friend - perfect song, map - reminds me of "those were the days" lyrics somehow -
Has it been that long since I was a mere newlywed? :)
Well doesn't that bring back some memories! The Stones. Those bastards. :-)Pearl
See our friend's site has disappeared again. Sigh.Do tell him he's missed, will ya? Thanks!
