Right! Time for action! Yes, action, physical action! Exertion even! Them pounds have been creepin' back. And they ain't gonna shift themselves. So, hopefully there will be less of me sooner than later!
I! Love! Exclamation! Points! Get ready for pain. And remember; if you don't watch how much food you shove down your gullet, no amount of exercise is going to make a bit of difference.
It can be fairly painless. Walk everywhere, low fat stuff, don't eat between meals or eat on the hoof and lower any alcohol intake. Good luck and don't fade away;)
Perhaps just laughing at that Olivia Newton-John video could take off a few pounds. :) Please tell me you're not wearing that outfit of hers while working out. ;p
I so know this problem... and it doesn't get any easier as we get older. My problem is I don't cook much... I tend to graze through whatever is in the house... argh.
Pon; I just need to get back into my 'good routine', I've been here before so I know it can be done! So, come join, be part of the 'movement'! (See what I did there?) :¬)

PG; Surely you must be fit as the proverbial fiddle from all that 'roamin' in the gloamin''?
Welcome to my humble abode. Yours is a wonderful place! :¬)
Your post reminds me of a long absence from any exercise. I look in the mirror and see a bit more of myself than I'm used to. Thanks for the reminder. Time to get up off the couch.
Star; I tell myself it's all gonna make me feel healthier and live longer, but we all know it's pure vanity! The last time I was 'bigger' a girl actually shouted "Lose a couple of stone you fat bastard" while I was singing on stage! :¬(
(I'm making a little progress, and i DO feel healthier!) :¬)

Pat; Sound advice.
ReplyDelete(I don't think there's any fear of me fading away anytime soon though!) :¬)

ReplyDeletedoes tapping the keyboard count toward physical?
GYPSY; You are so thoughtful! (And it was a lovely salad too!)
ReplyDeleteAnd no, most of the time my keyboard tapping just affects me mentally! ;¬)

ReplyDeleteGood luck...we're pulling for you.
I have been lounging on my divan, eating bonbons and reading romance novels...perhaps I should join you...
ReplyDeleteI get worn out just thinking about being physical, so I just have to eat less instead - which is no fun when you love food...
ReplyDeletehope; Ya know, I never really could pull of the leotard look! Much easier I find to do one's workout in a kilt! :¬)

Leah; See, that's what got me where I am today, 'cept it was the couch, and beer, and murder mysteries! Come, join the club! :¬)

Kim; And it certainly seems to be working for ya!
As the head chef at Chéz Map, I try to cook the healthiest dishes most of the time, I just need to eat less of it as you rightly point out. :¬)

ReplyDeleteGuess I'll be joinin' ya too, Map. ;-)
Jump! Lunge! Twist! Pushup! Couch! I just about passed out reading this.

ReplyDeleteScott; Yeah, it's time we all got off the couch! :¬)
ReplyDeleteGood luck in losing the beef. I am a few stone overweight...an ongoing battle. I am sure you will have success!
