  8. I have just heard you singing a beautiful ballad - courtesy of Jimmy. It was perfect.

The only way I can tell if Jimmy has written a post is from your side bar. It used to come up on my dash board.

  12. Anna isn't just gorgeous, she is truly beautiful. She is a ray of sunshine for you, Mrs. Map, and all of Limerick.

I loved your singing, too—great voice and a great ballad.

  20. Is it redundant to say how beautiful your daughter is...wow! Please share our praise with your wife.

Looks like she and I have similar hair...hope you don't mind if we don't adopt your current hairstyle. ;)

  21. Just heard your beautiful voice, courtesy of Jimmy....fantastic! (Work computer wouldn't let me try yesterday).

Ponita, we'd better watch out! Unless we add Jimmy to the P.R. firm, he'll do too well without us.

  22. oh, my dear map, but no i don't just "like" my pressie from your sweet and talented daughter, kate - I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! it is the gift of gifts - and i was moved to tears when first i heard it - first of all, that she spent her time and energy and great talent to put to music one of my poems, and then, the result! i was speechless [a rarity for me as we all know!] moved beyond words - it's beautiful - her musical perspective of the words is perfect! perfect! and her "pressie" a gift from the heart which is even more perfect - i've not been home the past day or so and am a bit behind on things here - my apologies - a second birthday celebration with another daughter all day yesterday! ;)

you and mrs map are to be congratulated on your beautiful and beautifully talented family - the lot of you - you all share such a magnificent caring and love of each other and others!

    Maybe another time .... ??

    Anna is stunning!
She has a lovely, mischievous and very confident air to her.

  24. Very nice picture. Does singing help to keep the boys behaving properly?
Since you're Irish, I think you are expected to sing. I should search around your blog to see if you have anything about Durty Nellys - I had a fun time there in the past.

  26. What a gorgeous daughter you have map, what the hell is a debs/prom? Is it anything like a school disco where the kids turn up pissed and dance to Rick Astley tunes? Or was that just oor school.
