First of all, Tattoo You is the Stones' masterpiece, as far as I'm concerned. It was their wake-up call after punk rock almost made them irrelevant. Also, that video was filmed in my old neighborhood, the East Village. Keef and Mick walk down St. Mark's Place and meet the boys in St. Mark's Bar. I got all gooey watching it. If I could go back to then, I'd do it in a second.
*sigh* i was younger than super nana is now! xoxox
ReplyDeleteI was already living a 1000 km from home by this time, at the ripe old age of 23!
ReplyDeleteYou're dipping into the old memory banks lots tonight, my friend! xoxoxo
They looked old back then too. Charlie Watts is timeless though.
ReplyDeleteKeef was still pretty. One never sees those snake hips these days.
