  4. And political correctness gone mad---because of obese children, the Cookie Monster can't sing the cookie song and more

  5. Love that eleven song! I can't say I've spent much time watching Sesame Street... not having any kids and all.

But I do like Elmo... And Snuffleufagus or whatever his name is.

  7. Hate to disagree, old chum, but it's not a patch on 12 ladybirds at the ladybirds picnic...

  9. I was too old to learn anything from Sesame Street but always enjoyed the celebrity cameos. Robert DeNiro! Saw a spoof once of Billy Idol's "Rebel Yell" called "Rebel L" about the letter L. There was a Billy Idol muppet Great stuff.

  11. I watched snippets of it with my younger brother but must confess I loved "The Electric Company" which followed it. It was suppose to be the "hipper half" of Kiddie programing and featured a very young...Morgan Freeman. Maybe that's why when he was later given the movie task of providing the voice of "God", it made sense. I'd been listening him to tell my little Bro the rules for years. :)

The clips were fun..who doesn't love a muppet? Okay, I was a Kermit fan. Thanks!

hope; We had The Electric Co. here too, but Sesame St. was no.1.

"who doesn't love a muppet?" Maybe that's why ya like me?
