been catching up! There's ben lots of excellent viewing here! That photo of you is priceless :-) and I know what you mean about finding people to play with who get you. Myself and the Ronald have had a few people come round to jam some of our tunes and a few people come to try and join 'the band', but it always ends up turning into a chore and it just doesn't gel.. would love a proper band.. but for now we just have to be content with a multi track recorder and try and fill the gaps in ourselves, lol! cheers!
When are you going to emigrate to Canadia and start serenading us here? In Manitoba, we have "socials" every weekend and you'd have plenty of work year round! xoxoxo
Jayne; Nothing 'happened' to him as such, as far as I know. I DO know he is taking a long break from the blogosphere, and I would put my life savings on a bet that he will be back, one day! :¬)

the watercats; Welcome back, glad to see ye're still making music and are back gigging again. No questions though? :¬)
Pat; I have been gigging alongside of the 'day job' for as long as I had a 'day job', but only made it 'full time' three years ago, at the age of 46! (A year after I learned to swim!) I had gotten to hate my job so much that during a really bad day I rang Herself and told her I was quitting. "About time!" says She! She has always had more faith in me than I have ever had in myself! I am blessed.
Sausage; What do I like to drink? Ha! If it's wet, and preferably in a glass, I will drink almost anything! (I am Irish, of Scottish descent!)
But seriously, I like a pint of Guinness in the winter, lager in the summer. I like a rare treat of 'something golden' from the top shelf with special friends, though I will not say no to a JD or three. And I am quite partial to a Chilean or Australian Merlot of a dark evening at home chilling with Herself. And a cool crisp Pinot Grigio can be most refreshing in the garden on those very rare sunny days! :¬)
Ryan; Thankfully I rarely have to visit, or am taken for a visit, to or by the polis! The last time was about a year ago, to get some forms signed for a new passport for one of the daughters. (I'm either very good, or very clever! You decide!) :¬)
hope; What a silly question! "A pirate costume?" One? I have at least FIVE! :¬)
xxx
Pon; The way things are going in this country I may have no other choice soon! And I would love to entertain ye all at ye're socials. Watch out Canadia! :¬)
Kim; I must start playing the Lotto, even a small win would get me over there, or you over here! I haven't been back in a while, it would be great to visit. Who knows? One day soo I hope! :¬)
oh, but dear sir, i've no fear whatsoever! and besides, i love the way you serenade from your knees - not just ANYone can hold that stance and sing at the same time!
my next question is: do we get seconds? [questions?] ;)
You're setting yourself up for all sorts of questions here, Map!!!
ReplyDeleteI'll try and think of something interesting... be back when I do. xoxoxo
Pon; That's the idea. (You'll notice I said 'might'! :¬)

UB; No. I believe there probably was a 'Jesus', but I don't believe in deities, or leprechauns, or honest politicians. :¬)
