Five Get Back Together Again. (Nothing To Do With Enid!)

Fourteen weeks ago daughter #2 moved out of home into her first apartment. Just for the summer.
She's 19 and wanted to experience independence.
And she did.
And loved it.
And it was with our blessing.
She returned home today, and I expected her to be a bit sad at doing so, having had 'a life' for the past three months.
But she was so happy being 'back in the fold' as she called it.
She is the liveliest of our three (and by that I mean 'wilder', takes after her da some say!), and I had forgotten how noisy our house used to be when all three were here together.
And I missed that.
And I missed setting the table for five.
So once again we are a full house.
And we love it!  :¬)

  1. Always wonderful to have the whole crew together. And I'm glad she enjoyed her freedom but even more that she's so happy to be home again. Coming from a family of 6 kids, I know what you mean about the noise!!

  2. How cool that loves to be back with all of you, I'm not convinced my 18 year old will be like that!

    1. Joey; Yes, but the electricity bill has doubled already, she does like her long showers, and hairdriers and straightener thingies! :¬)

  3. Ah! What I would give, if only for a day or two, to be able to return to my own fold!

My son moved out five months ago. I lure him back with food. :-)
