Don't Upset Map.

The landlady of my local mithered me tonight.

She won't get the chance to do it twice.

  1. Let the sun rise over the foot of your bed before you go back in and burn bridges in your local watering hole. Harsh words are like bullets from a gun, fired in anger, too late to recall.

  2. Jimmy; Oh all was 'setttled' before I left the premises, apologies were made, and accepted, but she showed her true colours last night.

  5. Had to Google "mithered." If nothing else, I'll go to bed tonight a little smarter.

  6. Well, I'm not going to Google "mithered", instead I'm going to ask you what it is :)

  9. oh, dear! well, better to see her true colors sooner rather than later - but too bad you were subjected to such, whatever it was! she obviously isn't aware of your international standing!

  10. In deepest Lancashire we would say:
'Don't mither me!' Often to a child wanting something it shouldn't have.
    'Stop your mithering!'
It's easy to forgive - not so easy to forget.
