sav; Aye missus! There are some things our kids have to learn for themselves. Today was one of those days. We just have to be be there to pick up the pieces sometimes! :¬)
The hardest part of those lessons is that "watching a train wreck in progress" feeling; torn between stepping in to help and knowing that sometimes, you just have to stand in semi-horror, watch it happen and offer to clean up the mess. :)
I'm betting your hugs are good for bad and great days.
Madame DF; One of them was painful and embarrassing for the individual concerned, though I suspect the mortification will last longer than the illness! :¬)
My fav lesson was fae my Da who let me drink a bottle of babycham(canny mind if that's right)and a bag o pickled onion monster munch. I learned how to pray to the ceramic god aka the loo.
Sausage; That's exactly what Number 1 was about, except I didn't 'let her', and it wasn't Babycham! (I think she's still recovering. There was lots of 'talking to God on the big white telephone!)
(The thoughts of eating pickled onion monster-munch makes ME want ta heave! :¬)
momma said there'd be days like this... xoxoxox
