Lessons In Life, Numbers 1 & 2.

Number 1; Sometimes it can take putting your hand in the fire to feel what it is like to be burned. (For Kate, my eldest.)

Number 2; A windy day is the best day for flying a kite. (For Helena, my youngest.)

We all learned something today.

  16. The hardest part of those lessons is that "watching a train wreck in progress" feeling; torn between stepping in to help and knowing that sometimes, you just have to stand in semi-horror, watch it happen and offer to clean up the mess. :)

I'm betting your hugs are good for bad and great days.

  18. Very intriguing lessons. I hope the learning of them was not too painful.

  19. Madame DF; One of them was painful and embarrassing for the individual concerned, though I suspect the mortification will last longer than the illness! :¬)

  21. Sausage; That's exactly what Number 1 was about, except I didn't 'let her', and it wasn't Babycham! (I think she's still recovering. There was lots of 'talking to God on the big white telephone!)

(The thoughts of eating pickled onion monster-munch makes ME want ta heave! :¬)
