Sometimes a night in the pub of choice with the friend of choice is all it takes to put life into perspective. It's amazing really how simple life can be if you just let it be.
hope; There isn't an ocean wide enough friend. And you don't need to drink, just ask for a Jameson when my taller pal asks what yer havin' and slowly nudge it in my direction yeah? :¬)
I have a drinking buddy I've known for years and years, and after I spent a couple of hours with him in the pub life seems so obvious and so damn simple. :D

Some of my most favorite memories are of being out on the town with someone dear, and some of my worst memories are of being out on the town when no one seemed to care where I was.
A beer, a laugh, some commiseration. It's all I ask.

ReplyDeleteJust because there is an ocean between us doesn't mean I can't enjoy friends, right? ;)
